Biography
I would like to thank you for visiting my page. I am pleased that you are taking the time out of your day to view my site. My name is Kevin Martrell Walker. However, those who I am good friends with or know well call me Trell. I was born in Moore County, NC, and grew up in a city called Rockingham. I then relocated several times in NC from Rockingham to Charlotte to Winson Salem and now currently residing in Los Angeles, Ca . I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science as a Health Fitness Specialist from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. From there I pursued a career in the medical field as a Physical Therapist Technician and Exercise Coordinator at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.
Now I’m sure you're wondering why in the world does he have an acting and modeling page??? Well, I have had a passion for acting ever since I was a little kid. Starting in a Christian preschool, I played the role of Moses. When I was old enough to perform and audition for school plays I immediately jumped on every opportunity. My first big theatrical role was the character of Mike T.V. from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" in the 4th grade. After the performances were over I knew this would be a field I will always love and enjoy.
To fast forward a bit. I also had a huge passion for sports, so I wanted to focus on athletics once I started middle and high school. The main sports i participated in were baseball, track, basketball, and football. Now, don’t worry I still participated in music and theatre while in high school. I just was more behind the scenes for theatre due to all of my practices for sports. So, with football being my favorite sport I wanted to take a chance to play at the collegiate level. However, that did not go as planned due to my college career being engulfed by becoming President of several organizations, and becoming a leader on campus.
While in college one organization I participated in was a Modeling troop. So with getting involved with that activity, I began to reconnect with the acting world as well. My junior year I took a theatre class in order to learn more history, and the beginning of acting. From there, I found and interviewed with a modeling and acting agency, and took a few classes through their facility. Then, I started looking for casting companies and submitting Headshots with information needed in order to get booked for shows and movies.
My current Aspirations are to become a Principal Actor in TV Shows and Films. To date, I have appeared in the VH1 series show "Hindsight" and a featured role in a TV Pilot reality show. I have also had the opportunity to have an appearance in the feature film "The Remaining". Lastly for the Short Film category I was casted as the second assassin for the "Wicked Series- Legacy of the Wicked”.
So a few fun things about me. I am a bit of a handy man, I took a carpentry class in high school where we built houses for humanity, to classroom trailers for schools, dog houses for our families, and repairing damaged walls and holes in homes. From a kid to the young adult i am today I have always had a curious mind on how things are put together, so I constantly take things apart for that reason and hope that I am able to fix it back! haha. I am a very outgoing, fun, and spontaneous person, I love the outdoors. Activities such as rock climbing, zip lining, white water rafting, kayaking, tubbing, mountain biking, jet skiing etc... I’m all for the thrills and adrenaline!
